As mentioned above, transdisciplinary education can be integrated in higher education in various formats and on different levels. Though still rare, some universities in Europe offer degree programs that have a transdisciplinary approach in their entirety. More common are individual transdisciplinary modules, courses or activities as part of degree programs. Of course, there is also the possibility of extracurricular programs, classes, events and activities. These can range from institutionalized and structured honors programs reserved for talented students, to one-time citizen science events which are open for everyone. In the following, we will present a number of good practice examples from different European countries covering a variety of formats.
