The Transdisciplinary Innovation Lab (TRAIL) map of the STEAM+ project provides a guideline visualised as a metro map, for teachers, higher education institutions, policy makers and students to co-develop, implement, organise, and strengthen their own TRAIL. Select your role to highlight the metro-line that holds specific information for you. Every station builds upon the information of the previous ones and contains general and adapted information for your specific background. Welcome to the Teacher’s Lounge where you can board the ‘teacher line train’ with destination Grand Station of the Transdisciplinary Innovation Lab (TRAIL). 
Boarding in the Teacher's lounge starts by boosting your motivation as a teacher to build a TRAIL. The first part of the line contains several stops that inspire and help you to co-creating a TRAIL with students, some of the institute’s policy representatives and policy makers.

The line joins the central circle line where the train runs in iterations of preparing, executing, embedding and improving the TRAIL. A TRAIL requires collaboration at different levels within the education system, at times bringing together teachers, students, higher education policy representatives and educational policy makers. Several trains run through the same stop when collaboration is needed. The particular content of the stop does differentiate between roles, to meet your particular needs.

## All Aboard!

Welcome to the Educational Board where you can board the ‘higher education’s policy representatives line train’ with destination Grand Station of the Transdisciplinary Innovation Lab (TRAIL). 

Boarding in the educational board first confronts higher education institutions with their need for a TRAIL, and continues to co-create a trail at their institution. The first part of the line contains several stops that inspire and inform how you can help to co-create a TRAIL in collaboration with students, teachers and policy makers.

You then move towards co-creating with other stakeholders within and outside the institution. Then the train will take you to the grand station where all actors come together to discuss the creation or the continuation of the transdisciplinary innovation lab. The last stop on your journey is at the embedding of the lab.

Welcome to the Policy Center where you can board the ‘policy maker line train’ with destination Grand Station of the Transdisciplinary Innovation Lab (TRAIL). 

Boarding in the policy center shows policy makers what expectations future employers have for young people entering the job market, and why societal wicked problems experience a lack of skilled change makers, all of which can be contributed to by TRAILs.

There are several stops along the way which inspire and inform how you can help students, teachers and higher education institutes to co-create a TRAIL. Stations present possible policy bottlenecks and suggestions to overcome them. The policy maker can choose to contribute to the co-creation of a TRAIL or support the establishment of a co-created TRAIL.

This train brings you directly to experiencing a TRAIL, but also allows you to divert at a crossroad to participate in the co-creation of a TRAIL. There are several stops which can inspire you on your way to the crossroad. Then just dive into the TRAIL or get engaged in the co-creation of a TRAIL along with teachers, some of the institute’s policy representatives and policy makers.
